Dr Alastair Gibb
Gender: Male
Dr Gibb sees patients Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
I went to medical school in Manchester, graduating in 2012, before spending two years training in a variety of specialties at Salford Royal. My wife and I then moved to Australia to live and work for 12 months in Brisbane, before returning to the UK and settling in Oxfordshire.
I embarked on my postgraduate training in General Practice in Oxford, working across all hospitals in the city. In 2018 I joined Bartlemas Surgery for the final year of my GP training programme, where I was fortunate to become part of the team as a salaried GP in 2019.
I enjoy all aspects of general practice, whilst developing my interest in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions and medical education. In addition to working with patients, I have roles as a GP trainer, undergraduate tutor at the University of Oxford and clinical lead for Oxford's Primary Care Visiting Service.
