Sam Beardsley

Dr Beardsley sees patients on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Dr Beardsley graduated from University of Leeds in 2007 with an undergraduate degree in pharmacology. She went on to do a PhD in Genetic Epidemiology at King's College London before going to work as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Nottingham. She then studied graduate entry medicine at the University of Nottingham, where she graduated with honours in 2017. She completed foundation training as an academic trainee in East London. She then moved to Oxford for GP training. As part of her training, she worked for a prolonged period at Sobell House Hospice and has an interest in palliative medicine. She joined the Bartlemas Surgery team in 2024 and became a GP partner in 2025. Dr Beardsley is the practice lead for research. She is also the Caldecott Guardian and clinician safety officer.
Outside of work, she enjoys travel, reading and family time.
